My son has in the past few hours developed several red bumps on his neck and a few of them have a ring or circle around them that is very pale. I checked his bedding it is fine. He has not been outside so they are not bug bites and we have no fleas hopping in the house. He has had his chicken pox shot. Oh and he threw up once this morning but is keeping food down now and has no fever. Before anyone gets nasty and says call the doc like I am a lousy mom...I did already. They just said wait.....

  1. get off the computer and bring him to the doctor who cares what they say, bring him to the ER then if you arent' getting an answer, what if its an allergy??? Dont mess around.

  2. WELL when i got the chicken pox i had the shot and i got them very like little

  3. It sounds like it could be eczema or hives. My sister had these when she was about 6 years old and it lasted on and off for about a month with medication. If its hives its usually caused by an allergic reaction. Is the spots itchy and dry? If so it sounds to me like that would be what it is but that's just basing it from my sisters symptoms.

  4. and they are right...he isn't showing enough symptoms to ascribe a cause yet.  They don't want him there if he is coming down with something contagious...and there isn't anything they can do for what he is currently experiencing.  So as long as he is able to keep food and water down...all you can do is wait and see what develops.

  5. We don't think your a horrible mom, that happeneds. Maybe he has ring worm.

  6. 1) You are not a lousy mom. Any mom that writes a paragraph to see what is wrong with her son is a good mom. BTW...don't pay attention to what others think.

    2) It could be ringworm. It sounds nasty, but it is easy to cure. Just get medication from a doctor. DO NOT TOUCH IT! It is contagious.

That's my guess, but it seems you are doing a good job and making an effort to help your son get better.

    Good Luck!

  7. Well, it might be an allergy. so, ask him what he has had to eat the last 2 days, or yesturday. Mabey a food that he hasent eaten for a while. Or a new food. If this continues take him to the hospital or a docter. And by saying that i am not saying your a lousy mom

  8. I'm no expert, but it sounds like it could be many things.  It may be heat rash, or maybe an allergic reaction to something new that you're using.  Here's link I found that may help! Good luck!

  9. Perhaps he is experiencing an allergic reaction. If you are using any new cleaning products or detergents around the house that is something to consider. Good luck. I hope your son feels better soon.
