Red light in the sky?

Question

So one night a few years ago, I was exiting the car. I saw a small jittery red light in the air. It looked like the red light of a laser pen, but it was faillry high in the sky in the middle of the night. It was very small and moved very randomly. I got something out of the car and when I looked up again it was gone. What do you think I saw?

I wasn't there so I have no way of knowing, but if I were to guess I would say that I think you saw the reflection of a red light on the interior car windows.  That would explain everything you mentioned here.

oh my gosh....same!!!

cause like one day i was just lying on my bed trying to go to sleep(i'm an insomniac...it takes me forever to go to sleep), so i just stared out the window and i saw red dots. i blinked and they were still there. then i looked away and looked back and they were gone.

well i have glasses so it may just be because my eyes are screwed up and i was seeing things.

well it could have been from something tall in the air, or from a powerline.

Hmmm if it was an occasion it could of been a firework or an airplane they can travel fast

If you are referring to you saw a UFO then it could be

Was the light blinking?

Was it moving across the sky?

Did anyone in the car have something that admitted Red light? Ex:Laser Pen

If you said yes to the first question no doubt it was an airplane light

If you said yes to the second question then another possibility it is an airplane was it moving at abnormal speed (Very Very Fast)

Then it could be a UFO or if it was going in impossible directions that airplanes cannot maneuver or so low that it couldn't of been.

Well it was significant enough that you remembered it all these years and then posted it on here. So ...you must at least suspect that it might be from outer space.  I'd wonder too. I'd at least want a reasonable explanation. Did you talk with the airport ? They might know exactly what it was...even if it happened years ago. It might be happening a lot..you just don't see it.

You saw an unidentified flying object.  That is to say, you saw

it, it was flying, and you could not identify it.  I honestly don't

think you saw an alien craft.  There are too many explanations

for red lights in the sky at night.

Aircraft navigation lights are red, and radio tower lights are also red. Mars can sometimes appear very red in the night sky and there are many things you might have seen, even a laser pen, as you mentioned. What do YOU think you saw?
