  1. No, not just for one ticket.  You would have to receive five (5) or more citations.  The Department of Revenue handles these violations.   Citations are the responsibility of the registered owner.  They do not go on your record, but will be turned over to a collection agency if not paid.  Fines will increase, and eventually affect your credit rating.

  2. If you do not make a court appearance or pay the ticket, you can have a warrant issued for your arrest for either Failure to Appear or for Failure to Pay, and your driver's License can be suspended for up to 90 days.
