Red nail polish and lipstick?

Question

There's this party on Friday night. I have an asparagus green dress but slightly brighter (refer to wikipedia. haha), and it's above the knees. I'm wearing a pair of 4-inch black peep toe pumps.

What do you guys think about pairing the look with a silver clutch, red nail polish and lipstick? Should I have the same nail colour on my toenails?

Suggestions are most welcome.

dont wear red with green ew that is so gross unless its a christmas party  too many colors goin on you should wear glitter on your toenails and just put on a clear gloss on your lips it would look perfect

I think it would look ok,but just make sure you're not going to look like a christmas helper or anything :P

If it doesn't suit the dress i think bright pink is always good with green.

I think red nails are fierce! If you can rock that while wearing a green dress then you've got some major self confidence! I say go for it! And if anyone says anything about it ask them if they could pull it off with half the class that you can

sorry the image of an asparagus green dress and red lipstick and nail polish dont exactly go together. I would suggest something that goes with the color tones because right now it seems like a mess.Sorry.Dont mean to be harsh.

I think the red would be okay, but if you go that route, I'd pick a warm red rather than a cool, blue-undertoned red.  l**k a brick red would be cool.

You could also go old school glam with a smokey eye--heavy black liner, shadow, and mascara.  Then do a nude lipstick and a french manicure and pedicure.  I think that would look classy and polished.

I do not think that that is a good idea. I think you should just French Tip your fingernails and your toenails.

well...the red lipstick and nail polish dont go with the green dress...

always ur shoes and purse should have the same color ...

for nail polish..put silver or black (on ur toe nails too)  and have ur bag and shoes the same color..
