Dee, not in the least, I was just hoping for some guidance. Believe it or not, 20 (black, high, even, second dozen) is a very lucky number for me. That and 29, 17 and 13.

  3. The house edge is the same on every bet so it really doesn't matter what you play. But if you just want to play simple bets why not play baccarat. All you have to do is pick which hand will win, house or bank. The house edge is MUCH lower than Roulette. Don't play the tie.

  4. I hav e to agree that if you have to play a game in the casino, Roullette has terrible, terrible odds.  Best winning strategy, take the amount you budgeted to play, write a check to the casino for 90% of that amount, mail it in, and you're ahead!  Then you don't have to stress over which numbers to play.

  5. Doesn't matter how you bet there are 36 numbers and  a 0 and 00.  The house wins on 0 or 00 so twice every 48 spins, only the house wins.  That is over five percent house advantage, in the long run, everybody who bets a dollar, donates a little more than a nickel to the casino.  If you get enough people playing, those nickels add up.  And no one ever talks about how much they lost, but they crow about how much they win, so they get advertisment for the few dollars that escape their clutches.  Roulette is for suckers.  Blackjack is almost as bad.  If you master the complicated rules of craps and betting, you can cut the house odds down to about one tenth of one percent.  But most people don't bother and they lose big.  Poker and other card games are mostly games of skill,  If you win big you will not even notice the cut the house takes if it takes any at all.  Poker is a great draw and advertisement.

The best way to play is with a casino junket tour, you will usually be issued about $50 in chips.  These chips are marked so that they can only be used in that casino, and are not redeemable for cash.  you and a partner play roulette and split your odd/even bets.  One of you plays red or odd, and the other plays black or even.  One will win, and be paid off in chips that can be redeemed for cash, while the other loses.  When all the house chips are gone, between the two of you you should have $100 in redeemable chips, less the house percentage, so you should have between $90 and $100, varying by the amount of the house cut,  You split, cash in and walk away winners.  Enjoy all the freebies your junket entitles you to, and leave with cash in your pocket.  That is the only way to win at Vegas.

  8. Blackjack or craps dog

  9. Roulette is by its very nature the one of the worst odds in a casino. That said, if you want to play, just have fun with it. Red/black, odd/even, high/low, its all the same. There is no optimal strategy unless you literally have unlimited funds. Roulette is merely like playing the lotto. You shouldn't expect to win, but its fun to play and sometime you actually get lucky and do win. Enjoy!

  10. Strange game

    Only winning move is

    Not to play.
