Red panda observations?

Question

OK, I know this picture is of a Red Panda. But does anyone think they look at least a tiny bit like a fox?

Also, they kinda look raccoon-ish, especially in their face.

Does anyone think the same thing?

that's cute!!!!!!! it is not red, i thought red pandas are red.

they are pure cuteness

Red pandas are distantly related to racoons

Agreed!  I suppose that's why it took a while to classify them.
