Red road flats?

Question

i have passed these on many occasions,and have read and written about the development of these flats for uni,i have wondered though,WHO would choose to live in them,they are so big and lack facilities,they look neglected etc,and is it true they are to be torn down OR sold to developers to be refurbished and used as executive and student flats?

Rumour has it they are to be pulled down.  Not before time in my opinion.  I agree they look neglected & an eyesore. In all fairness, its the tenents who make them so, graffitti , rubbish all over & not keeping the place tidy. There are some good people living there, but they dont stand a chance with the majority.
