Question:

Red stripe on vizio 42"

I have a Vizio 42" that i purchased in 2005. Yesterday a vertical red stripe(about 2 inches wide) appeared on the left hand side of the screen. i have been told it is the processor, but im not sure...if it is in fact the processor, how much would a new one cost, and where could i find one?....Thank You in advance,Richard Kelly
