  1. give him/her their own room lol but if you want a more precise anwer how bug is he/she

  2. 4 snake general rule of thumb is half its body length for the width and length and  a 2 foot tall u put some newspaper and a liter box and a chicken wire or a plexi glas top for it so that u lamp can reach it for ur geckos if its a leopard i go 5 gallons per gecko so if u got 4 i would go a 20 i think u can keep more in 1 but i dont no thats how i do it 4 my colony

  3. The rule for any snake is that the snake should be able to stretch around the tank and not have to be coiled up all the time.  A very good set up for your red tail is  a cage or tank that is 5 foot by 2 foot.  and 3-5 foot high.  And a huge branch to climb on.  The branch makes it difficult to take your snake out  because he has something to grasp onto as you try to lift, but it will make him happy.   Also just so you know that there are different kinds of red tail boas.   Your snake could very well get  between 10-13 feet.    Well good luck with you little friend.

  4. For our red tail boas, we built cages that are 9 feet long and 3 feet deep.  They are only about 2 feet high.  For a hide hole, we just cut up a large cardboard box and use a shallow rubbermaid as a water dish.  They work like a charm.  Just make sure when you build it that you do not have to reach your whole upper body into the cage to grab the snake (putting yourself at a disadvantage if the snake strikes out of self defense).   It's a really common mistake that people make when building cages.

Also, do not put your snake in a cage that large until the snake is large enough to fit in it.  When you put a small boa in a too large cage, they tend to freak out with all the extra room and can get very snappy.
