Reddy Heater R55 concerns

I have a model R55 reddy heater and recently it would not ignite. When I took the top cove off I noticed that there are 2 green wires that are not connected to anything. They look like they could be ground wires because they have eyelits on them but there is no missing screws or anyplace inside the heater body where it looks like they go. Does anyone know what these wires may be for?
