I'm 15 years old

My favorite colors red and I was thinking about painting my walls red

The last time i redecorated my room was when I was like 7

I'm allowed to redecorate my room into how I want it since I have different interests now than when I did when I was 7.. although, I'm not allowed to change the furniture just like the bedding, curtains, and the color of the walls

MY ROOM CURRENTLY:

Walls: light pink

Rug: mainly tan, and the rest are dark pale colors of blue, pink, and purple

Desk and floor: mahogany color

Dressers: are exactly like this color

(i have an armoire similar to that)

I'm not into this current look its too fancy for me and too bright and pale colors..

I'd prefer more bold colors and since i love the color red I was thinking about painting it red, and maybe putting up a bulletin board and make collages on it (I'm very creative, artsy, and athletic) but I don't know how it will go with my furniture I have now.

You think I should go with the idea I have? or Any suggestions?

I need advice

P.S. If you think I should go with the idea, what color bedding you think would match the walls?

  1. Cool idea. If you paint the walls red, go with a really bright red. Get black tile or carpet, it will make the red stand out. Black bedding as well, so it goes with a theme. Get the bulletin board, and maybe a HUGE whiteboard as well to hang on one side of the wall. If you are a good artist, paint a mural or something on one of the walls. Find a lot of paintings and posters that look cool and match the room, and hang them all over. Make all the furniture darker wood or material, and more of a modern, simple build.
