  1. Light pink walls with large mirrored closet doors (ballet bar inspired). The bed should be fluffy and feminine, I'd suggest white...

Basically add feminine touches, and lots of black and white photos.

  2. make everything thing lite pink and white and have a big ceiling fan. Make things very elegant. Try using lace. You can theme it in France and mayb ask your parents if they would hire someone to paint the eiffel tower on one of your walls! It would look great!

  3. Search the internet for Edgar Degas posters.  They are classic, elegant, and lovely ballet artwork.  You can buy them relatively cheaply and then frame them (framed posters are much more sophisticated).  Buy your posters first and then use them to do some color matching.

I might go with a black, white, and pale/dusty pink theme.  You could look for a whimsical black and white bedspread or maybe black and white paisley.  Chandaliers are all the rage now, you might be able to incorporate one into your room decor.

You could hang up an old pair of pink satin point shoes and use pink satin ribons from the craft store.  I also like the idea of using sheet music, music notes, etc. as accents.

Also, instead of going with typical ballet colors (pink and white) you could use some of your Degas artwork and pick a different color.  This would definitely add a classy, unexpected touch.  Degas used lots of blue, turquoise, gold, peach, olive, and mahogany in his paintings.  Olive and turquoise look really good together, you could look for this color scheme.

If you like the idea of making it a dance/paris theme, you could put up black and white photos of famous places in paris on your walls.
