Redecorating my Bedroom...

Question

i am redecorating my bedroom and i don't know what color to paint the walls.

i want 3 walls one color, and 1 wall a different color.

i don't really care about the theme or the colors as long as they are youngish and pretty

because i am a teenage girl

also, i don't know what new color sheets to get, so when you post the room color could you also pick out a sheet color to go with it?

i really need some help, so i would appreciate it if y'all could come up with some ideas!!!!!

Three walls light blue and one wall darker blue. Blue is calming and helps you relax and sleep. Two tones of blue go perfectly well together and don't date.

Any shade of blue or white sheets look fabulous in a soft blue room.

lindsay - Good choice to do 3 walls in one color and one in another. The single wall color should be the focal point of your room with the head of the bed against it. First, choose your bedding - look at a number of mags, stores or online to figure out your style and what colors you like best. Then, choose your wall colors. Pick out two colors from your bedding, one that will be the focal/head of the bed, then choose the other color which will be not as vibrant as for the other 3.

As far as your colors go, just go to a paint store and look at paint chips. You'll start to see what you like - bright, soft, black or white. Take your bedding with you to match it up and take your color choices home with you and "live" with them for a couple days. Trust yourself - it's your room and you know what you like. Go for it.
