Redeemed to add another glorious victory to his record in the Grade 3 Greenwood Cup
The four-year-old colt, Redeemed, will try to earn a spot in the Grade 2 Breeders’ Cup Marathon by acing the Grade 3 Greenwood Cup at Parx Racing on 14th July, 2012.

This 1 ½ mile race is a Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” event, for which the runner will have to work a little harder.
The Richard E. Dutrow Jr. trained colt is in splendid form since, he recently bagged the Grade 2 Brooklyn Handicap, where he was mounted by rider, Ramon Dominguez.

Over the distance of 1 ½ miles, the runner finished first by an immense margin of ten lengths over Eldaafer, and completed the race in 2 minutes and 28.89 seconds.
This time, the son of Include will take on the same distance, which should give him a clear advantage over the other runners.

He will, once again be teamed with jockey, Ramon Dominguez, and will enter as a high-weight with an impost of 122 pounds.
Owned by Jay Em Ess Stable, the runner has achieved quite a lot in his short-career. His performance in the Milesius Stakes at Belmont Park was remarkable, as he stole the show by a staggering 9 ¾ length victory over the Bill Mott trained, Birdrun,
over 1 1/8 miles on 3rd May, 2012.
Foaled by mare Early Mass, the runner will face off with Eldaafer once again, who will be aiming to seek revenge and take down, Redeemed.

Trained by Diane Alvarado, the son of A.P. Indy, out of mare Habibti, will ride in the hands of jockey, Angel S. Arroyo with a weight of 114 pounds.
Birdrun will also be hoping for recovery from the Milesius Stakes, and deliver a solid finish in this race. The six-year-old horse will also enter with 114 pounds, with rider Irad Ortiz, Jr. on his back.
Both, Birdrun and Eldaafer can try their luck, but it seems that Redeemed will be the one to down this race as well.

His previous performances speak for themselves, and chances are that he will make it to the Breeders’ Cup for further glory.
In his twelve starts, he has prevailed in seven and will be aiming for an eighth one.
