Tottenham Hotspur’s manager, Harry Redknapp has admitted that he is quite surprised by Newcastle United’s form and believes the team has no pressure riding on their shoulders.
Newcastle have gone on to surprise just about everyone by winning their last six games in a row and the way the team is playing, they seem to be almost unstoppable.
Following this weekend’s results, Newcastle went on to overtake Tottenham and claim the fourth spot in the league, as they look to try and secure a spot in the Champions League for the coming season.
Redknapp feels that Newcastle might find it easier to stay in the top four, given the fact that the team is already doing way better then they hoped to, while Tottenham are feeling the pressure to try and close in on a Champions League spot before the season
comes to an end.
The Spurs boss, when talking about Newcastle and just how amazing their season has been, is quoted to have said: "What http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 has done there is fantastic, it's a miracle really. To get them in the position they're in has been a great achievement”
“They can relax and play. No-one expected them to be anywhere near where they are. You have to give them credit for what they have done.
"They do look good at the moment. They have three fantastic forwards and they are playing very well.”
Before the season comes to an end, Newcastle United have to take on Manchester City, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043.
All three of those teams are looking to prove a point over the remainder of the season and for this very reason, many experts fear that Newcastle might end up dropping points, which could see them fall out of the top four.
Nonetheless, given the form that the Newcastle players are in at the moment and the way Pardew has been managing the team, they seem to be more than confident of beating just about anyone.
It is now going to be a long wait till the end of the season to see just what team ends up claiming the fourth spot in the league table.
