if i were to fill the backend of my shortbox f150 with water, how bad would the suspension sag? would it bottom it out to the stoppers? (yes there are rubber stopper/bumpers that stop the axle from rubbing the frame)

  1. Unless you put in a bed liner first, it won't hold water.  Once the liner is in place be careful.  You CAN get enough weight to blow the tires.  (A pint of water is a pound, 4 pints to a gallon, so 4 pounds per)

  2. You need to put blocks under the frame. Otherwise you might blow the tires or cause suspension problems.

  3. Water is about 8.3 pounds per gallon.

You can easily put 300 to 400 gallon in there.

Or each cubic foot of water is 62.4 pounds.  Measure the dimensions.

    You do the math

    Good Luck...

  4. You have about 48 cubic feet of space in your box, 1 gallon is 0.13 cubic feet. water weigh about 8 lbs per gallon.

    369 gallons+/-

    = 2952 lbs of water.
