My cat's eye is a little red just below it and it also looks slightly swollen. He's a kitty we just got a week ago. He's about two months old. Any ideas?

  1. It might be a sty, and you must get to a vet to have him look at it.  You can not get a proper diagnosis on the internet.  Do not use anything on the cat's eye, leave it alone until the vet can take a look at him.  Delaying this can cause permanent injury to the eye or to your cat's eyesight.  Please call asap.

  2. It may be infected, if so you will see redness, swelling and inflammation. I recommend a visit to the vet.

  3. Infected. He has to go to the vet for a checkup and medication.

  4. Maybe conjunctivitis, which is inflammation of the conjunctiva.
