Question:

Redoing 9 Rooms in 3 Weeks?

I am overwhelmed. 3 days ago we were happy with our 5 kids, then we got an offer to adopt triplets (age 2.5 months) and happily accepted. So now we are going to have 8 kids, but only 6 will live at home.

Currently our 4 year olds have rooms on either side of mine and my husband's room. Now we are moving them to a different part of the house, near their older sister's room kind of. The 2 girls will be on either side of us and the boy will be across the hall.

Before the four year olds had their own play rooms and our 14 year old had her own 'hang-out' room. Now instead of having 6 'play rooms', the 2 boys will have one, the 3 little girls will have one, and our teen will have hers.

So we are redoing all of the rooms in just two weeks!

Plus we have to shop for triplet clothes and toys.

We are ordering almost everything online though.

Sorry it's long, I was venting haha. It's just so crazy!

This isn't a question so:

Are you going to be busy in the next few weeks? With what?

  1. God love your heart for being able to put up with all those kids. I wish I could afford to have that many kids . My little 3 bedroom house would fall down!!!

I'm not going to be half as busy as you.

    Good luck to you :)

  2. Oh my goodness. You really are caring for putting up with all that. XD

My house is very large, too, but we have in it: Me, my mom and her fiance, and the maids and chef. We have a lot of extra rooms left over. x.x;; My stepsisters live with their hubbies.

Soon I'm going to Australia.. I can't wait. LOL. I just got back from South America and New York. I LOVE traveling! :D Maybe Italy sometime over the summer, my mom has been wanting to move there but she says it's a big change, etc, etc. She's been thinking about it for months. I wish she'd just decide! D: Hopefully we will go to some more places. But our vacations are frequent and long, so I need some time home over the summer, too. XD

Anyways, good luck to you and your new babies. :)
