  3. Think simple. Choose one or two colors that go well  together that you want to use. Then use those colors as accents (for accessories like candles, pillows, lamp shades, etc.) and keep everything else neutral. If you want to have a bit more color, paint one wall in a color (say the wall behind your bed) and the rest white or cream. And keep the color fairly soft, because color on the walls is always much brighter than you think it will be. A lot of people seem to want a black, white and red room, in which case I love this look: http://img.timeinc.net/aolhome/i/designa...  All the decor there is deceptively simple, but it goes great together and creates a really luxurient look. The use of red is also really sparing, so it really pops without being too much.

I think the most important thing is to remember to keep it simple. A lot of times I make the mistake of thinking something will look boring because it doesn't have a lot of color or it's very simple. But then I end up returning the more complex stuff and exchanging it for simple. You can keep simple designs and neutral colors interesting by varying the textures of your furniture and fabric choices. And remember to have lots of good lighting and to keep clutter and decorations to a minimum. It will create the most relaxing environment. Good luck!

  5. well if u like those sheets then maybe get a black blanket then u could have kind of like a zebra theme my sister wanted her room like a cheeta theme and got cheeta looking sheets then got a tan blanket and painted her room like a tan color and mixed all these other colors into the room to make it more colorful so maybe u could do something like that

    good luck!!!!!

  6. GO FOR NATURAL theme

  7. You could go with earth tones/neutrals for your walls and bedding.  And then have punches of vibrant colors for pillows and other accessories sprinkled through out.  (that way if you want something different, just change those out and it'll look a lot different without spending a lot.)

  8. keep all ure old stuff like bean bag, lamps ect and just tone it down,

  9. OMg! I think you should do a cream wall and have whatever color you want be the accent color. Or cream and brown and green. I wam redoing my room soon. They are neatrual but classy. You could keep stuff from your old style, for the accent color! HOpe this helps.
