it is good they got a couple good young prospects in return which they need and want well the reds are going to be the most complete team in a couple years with getting all young players

Well griffey was one of my favs but i think it was teh right move they put him somewhere he could have a chance to win we dont have to worry bout the money we got t young guys for him and we can sign dunn great deal all away around!

i think this trade has been long overdue and that they could have gotten more for him a couple years ago, but they got a couple of good young guys from the white sox to build for the future

I am not a Reds fan, I am a White Sox fan. The two players they traded to the Reds pretty much suck. Danny Richar might eventually pan out, but I doubt it. He doesn't seem to have his head screwed on straight. Masset started the year off well, but I hated to see him come into a game lately. Griffey still has something left. Not sure why the Sox traded for him though. We already have enough old dudes. He will play center and then they will move Swisher to 1st and bench Konerko who is having a horrible year. Jr will probably DH from time to time and may also spell Dye in right. Odd trade, but it is already paying off, JR had 2 RBI's tonight.

Jr had little value to the Reds.  How much he can contribute

to the White Sox is a question, however.  The WS corner

outfielders are better than him, they have a left-handed DH

(Thome), and the Reds had already decided Jr couldn't play

center any longer....

good move on the reds part. get rid of an aging jr for 2 young guys, and why is everyone so high on the white sox winning a championship now they are not event the best team in chi town, and im from cinci. plus they will have to go through 1-the regular season 2-the twins 3-the wild card hunters 4- then they will matchup against the winner of the best division in baseball(which will probley be the red sox) 5- the angels and finaly the cubs or brewers
