Liverpool and Sunderland have both received the most amount of red cards in the Premier League this season. Both clubs have had four red cards, with Javier Mascherano (twice), Philipp Degen and Jamie Carragher receiving their marching orders for the Reds, and Lorik Cana, Kenwyne Jones, Kieran Richardson and Michael Turner seeing red for the Mackems. Sunderland have also had the most yellows too. Their total of 48 puts them level with Portsmouth and Bolton.
