Reds release youngster to Fulham

German under 18 international left back Christopher Buchtmann has left Liverpool and signed for Fulham for a fee of around £100,000. Buchtmann was part of Liverpool’s Youth Cup squad last season – where they reached the final – and had been highly rated on Merseyside, but has been allowed to move south by Reds boss Rafael Benitez.
