Is it a sign that the Colts are slipping or that the Skins wanted this victory to celebrate the inductions of the greatest Skins of all time?

  1. NO! im happy we (the redskins) won but u can't judge anything by the 1st game of the pre season

  2. This means absolutly nothing. It was just a preseason game and the Colts played without Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeney, Gary Brackett, I could go on. The Colts usually lose most of their preseason games anyways.

  3. It's preseason...it tells about as much about the two teams as my beating you in a game of ping pong while wearing a colts shirt.

  4. It was preseason week 1. Neither team played the majority of their starters. You can tell anything from that game. Neither team even used much their playbook. The Redskins did look impressive with what they showed. They did torch the Colts starters on the first drive. Colt Brennan made a great NFL debut as well.

  5. No.  It's the first pre-season game.  Most of this game is played with back-ups, and 3rd stringers to see who will make the final roster.

  6. Yea doesn't mean anything pre season game my friend.  First few weeks or preseason the starters only about max 1st QT.  Later in the season they may play til half.  Its all red shirts and rookies out there. But ill say this, Redskins QB Brennan looked phenomenal...going 9/10 for a 123yards and 2 TD. WOW!  Impressive...campbell look out.

  7. No, it's just that Colts didn't started 7 starters on that game which includes Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Dwight Freeney, and more.

  8. dude the colts have always sucked in the preseason. in 06 the year they won the superbowl they didnt win one preseason game. who cares anyway if they got beat. its the preseason. doestn count for anything.

  9. It's a pre-season game. Not to take anything away from the Redskins, but you are reading way too much into the game.

Pre-season games are reps for the teams' starters, auditions for the other players try to earn their way onto their teams' respective rosters, or get noticed by other teams. The teams used a very limited amount of their playbooks, and it really isn't a match-up of two teams' regular season rosters for 4 quarters.

Basically pre-season games are all most toss ups.

  10. Ummmmmm,Colts didn't have their starters in.And Sorgi was the QB I wouldn't read too much in to it dude!
