If you can, please include workouts. I have improved my time from 7:44 to 7:35 in about two weeks.

  1. you could start running every day starting slower at 1st then gradually running longer

ex. start running for 5:00 min for a week then 6 min and so on

  2. Lift weights and run 5-6 times a week, and eat as healthy as circumstance permits. I'm a runner as well, but really it just gets better over time; you shouldn't rush it; but if you're determined to get good, then put in the time and effort to do that and ultimately, you will. That's the best I can give you.

  3. You probably won't be able to improve it that much.  You may get into the 6:15-6:45 if you really work at it.  I would run intervals of 200m, 400m, and 800m, with a 3 mile run here and there.

  4. ok im 15 and a guy and this is what i do but i add more harder workouts to this because my mile is a 4:58.

moday hard workout - run  5x 800 meters at tempo pace and tempo is running fast but not really fast with 1:1 recovery wich means whateveryou run it in you get that much time to rest.

tuesday easy workout - jog for 45 minutes and its a slow jog

wendsday hard workout - do 3 or 4 mile repeats again at tempo same with 1:1 recovery

thursday easy workout - jog 45 miutes because this lets your body repair itself from a hard workout

friday hard workout -run 400 meters twelve times at race pace which is as fast as u can with 3:1 recovery which is whatever u ran it in u get three times the recovery so if u ran it in 1 minute u get three minutes

saturday hard workout- run for 60-70 minutes fast but not really fast.

sunday- dont run at all its your day off

always be well hydrated an well stretched. also jog 15 minutes before the workout so your body is ready for the workout and jog 15 minutes after the workout to repair the body and only do the 15 minute jog on the days u do a hard workout.

    hope this workout helps

also e-mail me if the workout isnt a hard enough workout.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!

  5. Train hard. This would be extremely hard though to be honest. Though possible
