Can I reduce my mile mile time in 6 days?

  1. of course, depends on how you set your limit and how hard you work, you can even reduce it in one day if you work hard.  Practice makes perfect.

  2. Short answer: YES

    Long answer: If you get to the track the next 5 days, rest a lot the sixth day, and keep loose before you run, you should shave a good 20 seconds off. I lost a minute and a half in 5 months like this, and now I run a 6:22. Not sparkling, but better than 8 minutes. Besides, I'm a sprinter.

Really depends if ur already running a fast mile (like a 5:30) then maybe a little but not by a lot cause ur mile is already fast but if u have a slower mile then definitly just jog about 5-10 miles every day and every other day time 1 mile when ur not out of breath and have the energy. be sure to stay hydrated for u track meet (that is if your in track) and eat lots of carbs for energy!
