any one else as pisses as me that from 3 OTs, freakin Penguins win?!!?

bullshit goal in 3rd period. i was wicked excited that they were gonna win at home too.

game 6 though, it'll be a sweet victory to destroy them at there own rink. hahah

As a die hard Wings fan, I'm pouting because they lost. As a (fairly) objective observer, even I have to admit that the Pens played GREAT hockey tonight.  There's no shame in losing in triple overtime, and the Pens worked their butts off for the win. I was totally unamused with the goalie interference calls, the first one he was after the puck, not the goalie. I admit initially I thought he went after Fleury deliberately, but the replays showed he just had nowhere else to go, and Fleury went down way more because of the save than because of the hit.  The last penalty was an earned one though, I wouldn't want the Pens high sticking one of our guys in the face and drawing blood, so I cant complain (not too loud anyway) when the Wings get called on it. I think it would be great to win the cup at Mellon, and have it be only the second defeat in months at home for the Pens, but if not, we always have game 7 at the Joe.

I'm sorry Penguins fans, but unless you can get some miracle (like what happened this game), you won't have a prayer.  I'd like a fan to give me a reason the Wings won't be parading the cup around Mellon Arena.

im not p*ssed at all. im so happy they won, i wish they would have scored sooner tho. the wings took one from us in are game so we paid them back. game 6 is going to be amazing & the penguins are going to win. if they would have won game 4 like they were supposed to we could have rapped it up wednesday night at home ughh still pisses me up.

No, I am thrilled the Pens won.  Both teams played great!  Look as for game 4 it could have gone either way unfortunately the pens didn't win.  However they won game 5 which will give them momentum for game six.  Better question is if the Pens even the series how much bravado will red wing fans have for game 7?  Let's Go Pens!

Fleury kept the Pens in the game, and Hudler's stupid penalty cost the Wings the game.

The Penguins did what they had to to score, and they won fair and square. I congratulate them. Talbot's goal was clean and legal. He was well outside of the crease, did not interfere with Osgood, and swatted a dead puck into the net.

Enough said. Let's beat 'em in Pittsburgh!

Well, i'm a Sharks fan so from an unbiased point of view and just a hockey fan in general, it was a great game to watch.  

Both teams gave it their all, but unfortunately it came down to a special teams goal.  I'm not quite sure where you're going with the BS goal, but Talbot just worked hard to tap it in.  Nevertheless, even in this loss, the Wings showed how well they click as a team.  They are scary good!  We'll just have to see how much is left in the Pittsburgh tank of desperation.

Every game we go further into this series, the scales of experience vs. youth begin tipping towards the youth.  It was as clear as day that the Red Wings started slowing down about halfway thru the 2OT.  I give the Pens a solid 50/50 chance.

That being said, It has been clear that Detroit is the far superior team.  The way the handle the puck and play defense has this Penguins fan green with envy.

Two to go, may the best team(at the time) win.

I said it twice now but I will say it again, the fat lady ain't done sung, sugar, and there ain't no dirt on a Penguin jersey yet. They ain't buried yet. I was at this game, at I couldn't believe it. First, the refs took away one of our goals, which Mickey Redmond (who is always right) repeatedly called a legit goal. With this goal it wouldnt have mattered that the pens scored in the third. Then after two exhausting overtimes for the players and fans, the penguins get away with all these illegal cross checks and trips...and then they call the wings for a sissy nudge they call "high sticking" halfway through the third overtime. Personally, I think they should just hand the refs their own custom Penguins jerseys. Gary Bettman is behind this, with his "new" NHL.
