The Argentine mentor has voiced his views regarding his compatriot at the Catalan capital and the Portuguese skipper, stating that two players enjoy preference by referees.

He asserted that the Columbian international should be offered the same protection which is there for Messi and Ronaldo.
Although it has been observed that Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are two Spanish clubs which are usually successful in rallying some sort of support from the match officials, this is probably the first time that someone has pointed out athletes enjoying preferred
treatment on behalf of the referees.
On the other hand, Falcao has shown that he is an athlete who can score goals with the same magnificence of the duo he has been compared with. The striker was instrumental in leading Atletico to their Europa League triumph last season in addition to scoring
an amazing number of goals this season as well.
However, Simeone has remained cautious regarding the Madrid number 9 and has pointed out that match officials need to be alert regarding him as well.
"I don't like to talk about [referees], but I do occasionally, and it's clear that if you touch Messi and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734, it's a foul, but when it happens to Falcao, then nothing is given," the Argentine told reporters.

"I hope that in the future they are more alert. We looked for the fastest way to the win and it was very effective. In the second half the team were not good.”

"In the first half we had the situation we wanted on the pitch. I think it was very good. In the second [half] not so much, so I'm very happy with the result."
Atletico Madrid are currently second in the Spanish La Liga at the moment.
