Refinished Hardwood Floors?

I just had my hardwood floors refinished... 3 coats of poly... How do I prevent my dog from scratching the floor with his nails?

Yes...area rugs, runners BUT because you just had the floors refinished you will have to wait a minimum of 2 months before laying anything down on the floor because the poly is curing. Should you decide to lay a area rug down you will see a very big difference when you decide to take it up. The floor will be two tone. Please wait....  If it's high gloss?? you will see every scratch! verses a satin finish which hides alot more

ha! Good luck. Get a few rugs and make sure to file the dogs nails as smooth as you can.
