Reflexive verbs in Spanish?

Question

How would these reflexive verbs be directly translated to English?

1) [No vi muchas competencias­ de caballos - en español es Equitación].­ En Inglaterra tambien se hace, ¿no?

2) Acá en Argentina se practica el Polo

I know the basic principle of reflexive verbs being the 'doer' and the 'receiver' of an action, but can't yet translate them properly. Any advice?

1) In England they do it too, right?

2)Here in Argentina we/they play polo.
