Reformatting Chinese Vaio to English?

I recently reformatted my Sony Vaio laptop. I was trying to change it from Chinese to English, but then its a Chinese xp thing so i can't change the language. So I need an english cd thing to reformat it. Can I just go to stores like Best Buy and buy one of those reformatting cds which I can use to reformat my Sony Vaio? I have barely any knowledge of reformatting so I don't know whether you can use any cd to reformat a laptop. I know that my sony vaio is chinese, and I need an english one so I have to reformat it with one. Can I just walk into Best Buy and buy one?

check newegg.com i think the xp cd is like $90.

u should try goggling if u can change the language from Chinese to english.
