Refridge is broke???

Question

Recently got a fridge from used dealer no warranty. The freezer side works great, even freezes liquor. Fridge on the other hand is on the coldest setting and isnt cold enough to keep milk or meat. Any ideas on what could be wrong with it?

On these ice boxs is a temperature controled damper door that opens up and lets freezer air into the fresh food compartment. If that damper door is malfunctioning then the fresh food side will suffer.

maybe the door isn't shutting all of the way, or the rubber seal needs replacing? If the freezer is working, the fridge should be too....I believe they share the same freon.

Make sure the fan is working to distribute the cold from the freezer to the refrigerator.  Try going to www.repairclinic.com for some troubleshooting advice and to buy parts if needed.

turn your freezer control down to the half mark, when the freezer control is on max it cuts off the cold air to the refrigerator side.both controls should be set at half.
