Refrig cooling. Unit loosing cooling in freezer and most likely main compartment too. No iceing

Unit loosing cooling in freezer and most likely main compartment too. No iceing up, coils were dirty, cleaned them. It does cool correctly for a while then stops blowing cold air before everything is frozen. Compressor seems to be ok. I think is may be a temp sensor. Old unit, maybe 15 years old, used in the garage for extra storage. Unless it's a cheap part I don't see the use in repairing it. Your thoughts?
