  1. I think you should reheat it (not microwave) since heat allows the milk to evenly distribute.

Maybe the thick white stuff is fat?

Lipids are less dense than water.

  2. It's the cream and yes it is normal.  All the fat in the milk rises.  It it were cows milk that part get scrapped off and you are left with skim milk.

  3. it's normal...you have to shake the bottle before you heat it and feed it to your baby

  4. It's completely normal.

  5. It's normal. It happens every time I put it in the fridge too. Like everyone else said, it's the fat separating. Just shake it or stir it before warming it and it'll go back to the way it was before it was in the fridge.

  6. Yes thats totally normal

The different levels in the milk is where the foremilk and fat etc have sepereated (like cream and water).

What should happen when you heat it is it should all return as one colour - However they advise you NOT to SHAKE it whilst warming up, just swirl it around.

  7. It is totally normal, the fat separates.  Just run it under some warm water and gently stir and that is that.  There is nothing wrong, it happens to everyone.

  8. it's totally normal.  Cows milk would do that too except that it is homogenized (mixed together) before being sent to the store.

Just give it a gentle shake or stir and it'll go back to normal

  9. That's the fattier milk floating to the top.  Like cream on full fat cows milk.

    It's perfectly normal sweet.
