Refrigerator Smell

Question

I have had a very strong "chemical-like" smell in my refrigerator/freezer for over a month now. The refrigerator is about 14 years old and still runs nice and cold. The smell seemed to come on suddenly. I have cleaned it, used baking soda, and had a repairman come. (He changed a minor part which he said was "burnt"). Nothing has worked. The smell gets in all my food and ice. Help!
