We have a Magic Chef refrigerator that is about 15 years old. The refrigerator side is freezing everything. We had a repairman come out yesterday and he told us that we had to freezer control too warm and therefore it was blowing too much cold air into the refrigerator side. I understand the concept of how it works. However, he set the controls to approx. the middle range and said that should work. We put about 1/2 gallon of milk back into the refrigerator to test it and a few hours later it was frozen. We put a thermometer in it and it read 28 after a few hours. We set the freezer control to a higher temp (which should make the refrigerator warmer, right??) No difference, the refrigerator doesn't seem to ever go off. It is constantly running. What else can be wrong with it?
