We came back from a trip to discover that everything and every surface in our top freezer was covered in long ice crystals. The ceiling of the refrigerator had frozen water on it and there was water dripping into puddles on the top fridge shelf. Since then the fridge has stayed around 54f when the room temperature is about 65f. We've turned it all the way up which has not helped. The freezer is still cold (very cold) and it doesn't seem like anything melted in there. Did the compressor die? I'm trying to find out if there is an easy fix, and expensive fix, or if we should just get a new one.
