Question:

Refurbished iPod Touch ?

So my birthday is coming up at the end of October and I want an iPod Touch. They are pretty expensive, but apple sells refurbished ones for $100 cheaper that new ones. I did the "chat help" on the apple website and they said that the ipods undergo thurogh (sp?) inspections and all damaged parts are replaced. I saw some refubished touches on youtube, and the people said they look and work fine.

So my question is: Do the refurbished ones work ok? If I get a refurbished one, I can get a 16 GB for the price of a new 8 GB. It sounds like a pretty good deal to me, but what do you think? And please no stupid answers. Thanks!

  1. If it comes with a warranty, I say go for it. The screen is pretty much unscratchable, so you're alright if it's right from Apple.

  2. Yes, they give it a brand new outer shell, battery, and hard drive. Works like it is brand new (basically is.)

  3. Well whith APPLE the warranty is exactly the same as buying a new product from them, thats why I plan on buying a refurbished iMac.
