  1. Our border patrol are paid to protect us.  Sorry it was a hassle.  IDK what the problem was, but must have been a red flag somewhere.  Hopefully you get it cleared up and dont hold it against us.

  2. They are just doing their jobs.  It is what they get paid for.

  3. you've probably entered the US way too many times for their liking. you mentioned that they said they think you're trying to live here... they probably thought that since you've entered too many times.

they have the ultimate right to refuse anyone they want if they have every reason to doubt the person's use of the tourist visa.

they didn't refuse you without a reason and if they did over react (which is don't think they did), then it's of the best interest of the citizens and residents of the US. they're only doing their job.

just because you have a tourist visa doesn't mean you can enter anytime you want. you still have to go through the border patrol... and apparently, you're deemed an immigration risk. you may have all the legal documents you can have... but if they have one ounce of doubt, they can deny entry without any problems.

you may have a great life in canada but they have no way of knowing that. all they can go about is what they think right then and there... and they think you're trying to live here.

end of story. too bad for you.

  4. No current legit papers; no entry. The man is doing his job. Bravo!!

  5. Despite what the media may make of our Border Patrol agents, they do not go around harrassing visa holders without a valid reason.  I'm sure the agent told you what the problem was.  Now go fix it.  I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

Your documents may have been legal but they apparently were either insufficient, improperly filled out or they were expired.

  6. h**l at this time in our crisis I would think that to be a blessing.

  7. There is probably more than you are telling us here.  AMEN to our border patrol agents.  GOD BLESS THE USA!
