Dear friends,

I would like to know how long does it take to get a passport in

a) Normal mode b) Tatkal method.

I had a good look at the Passport website passport.nic.in and got an idea about the procedures, schemes, fee structure etc; I don't have any doubts about that.

I just want to know how long it will take to get the passport?

Hi, normally it will take from the submission of application 30 to 35 days. if it is under tatkal scheme with additional special fees you will stand to get with in15 working days means maximum 20 days.
