Reg H1B stamping in malaysia?

Hi friends,

I applied for H1 through one of the Consultant in US when I was in India.

Now I am working in malaysia. Can I go for stamping in malaysia.

Will there be a problem if anyone goes for stamping outside their home country.

Please clarify.

yes, you can. however, according to the information on US dept. of state, applicants may be more difficult to qualify for visa outside the country of permanent residence.

make sure you follow the application instructions and provide supporting documentations : original H1 approval form I-797,

offer letter from the company in US, your passport, original degree certificates/diplomas, copy of the complete I-129 petition, Labor Condition Application, and others....
