Reg social activites that done can be done in weekend?

Hi Frnds,

I want to do something for society like helping out poor children by some means or helping old,helping orphans. Basically i want to do some kind of work which can bring smile in someones face can anyone suggest on this.I am in bangalore and would like to do work in weekends

How wonderful and what a nice gesture on your part.You might try

Kijiji Bangalore they have listing of all NGO groups, their needs and contacts.

Reading to blind persons, big brothers and sisters, writing letters for veterans, so many needs, you will be greatly appreciated.....thank you

Don't know if you have retirement homes there, but you can try that as they always appreciate any help.

Just contact a few places like that and see what they come back with. Even if it's just someone to come in and sit with a few of the residents in there, it will do them good.
