Regal Acclaim to claim victory at Catterick
Regal Acclaim is likely to claim a classic triumph in Catterickbridge.Co.Uk Handicap (Div II) that will be held at Catterick racecourse on Wednesday, April 25.
The high-stakes Class 6 contest over a distance of 7 furlongs is scheduled to start at 5:15 (GMT). For the prize cheque of £2,045, Regal Acclaim will confidently compete against 9 rivals such as Chart, Trioomph, Rosie’s Lady, Mick Slates, Martha’s Way, Sleepy
Lucy, Brasingaman Espee, Tallula and Tumbleowtashoes.
The Tim Easterby-trained bay gelding excellently grabbed a runner-up rank along with a triumph in his last two outings during September 2011. These two outstanding feats boosted up his morale to a great extent along with installing him at top of the betting
market.
At the moment, the maverick young horse is carrying a lot of enthusiasm and form that will help him make a big impact in the coming contest. If he runs to his best and manages to maintain his winning momentum, his chances to finish first will be as high
as 90 percent.
Among the other runners, Rosie’s Lady and Chart are also likely to perform well in the race.
Rosie’s Lady started her career with a third on June 19, 2011. The David O’Meara-trained bay filly moved ahead to finish 7th and 3rd in the two subsequent races during the month of July.
After grabbing 9th and 8th positions in two contests on August 11 and October 4, the fantastic filly elegantly earned a runner-up rank in her last outing on April 14. Now, she is looking to break her maiden by winning today’s race.
On the other hand, Chart is also keen to bag his maiden triumph in the Handicap. William Jarvis’ bay colt excellently grabbed a runner-up rank on February 1, 2012. He finished 4th in his last outing on March 28.
Come what may, success seems to be leaning towards Regal Acclaim. However, the hot favourite horse will have to pass through some arduous challenges in order to make his may towards victory. The race is likely to have many twists and turns. Good luck to
all the runners.
