Regan King, Lee Byrne sign up for France
The Vulcans have invaded Wales’ rugby squad of its two major and star players today. Regan King and Lee Byrne both have admitted that this offer was too huge to turn down and will be heading to Clermont Auvergne. The French title holders released a admonition
shot across the Channel yesterday by broadcasting the signatures of Lions and Wales full back Lee Byrne and Scarlets superstar and backbone Regan King.
Both of the players will be armed with money-spinning 3 year contracts before heading to Central Massif. Clermont have recently been in news due to their heavy signings and now these two deals are the highlights now. Clermont Auvergne has been working on
its war squad and has collected gems in their side.
Byrne’s career at Ospreys rugby will end after this move. He has been playing for the club since 2006, when he was transferred from Scarlets. He will be leaving British and Irish Lions too after his contract getting expired this year. He made himself a*s

He said, “I'll be sad to leave my home region, but this was too good an opportunity for me to turn down at this stage of my career and I'm excited about what the future holds for me in France.”
Talking about Ospreys he thanked them and said, “I'm extremely thankful to the directors of the Ospreys for the way that they have handled this, allowing me to look ahead to what will be a fantastic experience for me.”
He believes Ospreys is his original region and showed signs that he will be returning to Ospreys in future before his career ends. Later on King gave out his statement and likewise thanked the Ospreys management for the hospitality and faith.
He said, “My family and I have always been made to feel at home here and we have enjoyed in Llanelli. We have made great friends and our children were born here so it will always be a special place for us.”
It’s been rumoured that Ospreys have an equal replacement for Byrne and will probably be welcoming Mils Muliaina as a full back. Muliaina is All Blacks full back with an elite reputation and tremendous performances.
