Regarding Canada's wonderland?

do you believe they are a rip off in regards to not letting you bring in drinks. If you do, they'll confiscate it at the gate.

They claim it's for safety reasons, but nevertheless they have vending machines with all the same drinks they are confiscating.

If you believe so, would you complain about it?

Every where is like that now, too may paranoid people.

It seems to be standard practice in most places like that as part of running a business and making profit.  For years movie theatres have not allowed their customers to bring in their own food and drinks.  I probably would not complain as it is so common.  If I decided to complain I would do it in a big way  and try to start a movement that would change the practice in all such places.

At least they don't confiscate water!!

Yeah, it is for 'safety reasons' but their also doing this to make money. Do you notice how everything thing there is especially expensive???

i think most amusement parks do that anyway...and it doesnt really matter anyway. They're just trying to make money, and you just lose a few bucks.
