Regarding hand luggage from US

My friend is travellin from the US and he s bringing two laptops wid him.Will der b any coustoms duty 4 d second laptop in the US and hw mill it go on in Indian airports(Chennai)?? Any duty will be levied??whr can i get the details??

If the Laptops are personal machines he will have no problem.  If they are brand new he might get hit for duties.  If he purchased them, make sure that he has the reciepts with him to show how old they are etc.  But generally if you just don't declare the machine you will have no problems.  Many people are traveling with more than 1 computer these days and as long as they look like personal machines they don't even blink any more.
