Regarding returns in mutual fund,nav and intrst rate?

Question

suppos i purchas 1000 unit of a mutual fund with nav at 15 and aftr one year if its nav drops to 10 .what my income would be? (10-15)x1000? will i also gain some money (as a intrest) as i parked my money for one year in that fund?
