Regarding stimulus checks...?

My husband & I received a check that did not reflect the $600 credit for our 2 children. I understand that this was a mistake that affected a lot of people with qualifying children, and the government is supposed to send out a second check to rectify the situation. My question is: Has anyone received the second check yet, or has anyone at least heard when those checks would be issued? I already tried the rebate hotline, and I was not able to get any information.

As I understand this issue the IRS will start to work on those second checks in the next two weeks.  However there is no guarantee as the IRS had been buried with this stimulus thing.

My understanding from what I read is that the rebate checks will be issued in August.
