Reggie Wayne or Randy Moss?

Is this trade worth the risk?

I receive Randy Moss, the other owner gets Reggie Wayne. Why would the other owner accept? Because his QB is Peyton Manning and he likes QB/WR combos.

Before you answer, consider this, Wes Welker is my #2WR. So if Brady or Moss go down, I could be in quite a bind... Is this trade worth the RISK?

The other two WR's that I own are Dwayne Bowe and Brandon Marshall.

  1. I would say it's worth the risk.  Also, Reggie Wayne probably won't have the same numbers as last season if Marvin Harrison is healthy.  The only problem is you're going to have three really good players with a bye in the same week.

  2. I like it.. the Pats have the easiest schedule out of all the teams this year.. I would keep both Welker and Moss on the same team.. I wouldnt trade either of them.. because when Moss gets double covered.. they're going to Welker.. But when your bye week comes.. you might as well chalk it up as a loss.. You might be able to slip by with your back-up WR's.. but its doubtful..

  3. well tht won't happen randy moss is but better in everything !

  4. Well, it hurts your bye week.

But, Moss is the top-rated WR, and the most dangerous TD threat in the game.

Double dips are nice, but he's kind of a tool for offering it straight up.

Wayne usually checks in around #5 or so.

If push came to shove, you could trade Welker...

Moss is a TD maker.  I'd probably do it, and start working deals with Welker so you don't have two eggs in one basket.

  5. i normally don't do these 1 for 1 trades where it has almost no impact. and wayne is almost as good of a player as moss (fantasy wise not in real life). however, moss is better so i would do it. and by the way, why are you worried about brady or moss going down? couldn't peyton or wayne go down too?
