  1. There are a few -

    http://www.jetstar.com/au/index.html

    http://www.qantas.com.au/regions/dyn/hom...

    http://virginblue.com.au

    http://www.tigerairways.com/home/index.p...

and iIf you are a student - http://www.studentflights.com.au/

Use Webjet - http://www.webjet.com.au and it will compare them all on prices/flight times etc.

Commuter - Sky Trans for Qld - http://skytrans.com.au

  2. Rex - Regional Express advertise but don't know much about them.

Qantaslink - Travel most towns don't know exactly how regional they go though.

Virginblue, jetstar, etc.. Don't fly regionally, only to main cities ie. Gold Coast, Townsville, Sydney, etc..

  3. I think Skywest is the only fully Regional only Commuter Airline left in Australia.

Most of the country airlines were bought out by the City Carriers, or only work for mining companies, or are localised to very specific routes (like Norfolk Island to Newcastle etc).

  4. Qantas has some services through their QanatsLink arm, there is also Rex who have an extensive regional network

  5. google Qantas and you will see their regional air services

  6. a few have mixed up what our airlines do here.

REX (Regional Express) connects Sydney and Melbourne to regional Australia (like Dubbo, Albury ect)

QantasLink is an off-shoot from Qantas. They do a similar service to REX but nation wide.

Jetstar and Virgin Blue who are bigger airlines do provide some regional service. They fly to such places as the Sunshine Coast, Makay, Gladstone ect. They fly into more bigger regional cities.
