Region 3 ps3 games!!?

hi ALL,

i am planning to purchase ps3 games, which has a region 3 code.

i personally own a UK ps3, which plays region2 games from the UK.

would the region 3 ps3 games work on my UK ps3??

i have been getting loads of different answers, and i would like to know if anyone ever played a region 3 games on there UK ps3??

PS3 games are ALL region free...

I tried buying games from Asia and played on a Australian console.....IT WORKED

yep all ps3 are region free and im not just saying that because ive read it as i have owned UT3  from america and ive also got some horror game that i can tread the title of from japan and they both work fine and thats on a uk 60gb release day console

PS2 games and movies aren't.

Yes Playstation 3 games are REGION FREE. There are no such thing as region locking for GAMES. But for blu-ray movies, not all blu-ray movies are region free.

But I guarantee you 100.00% that it will work on your PAL UK Ps3.

I personally have a friend that imports games from other countries ( like REGION 1, REGION 2, and REGION 3 ) and I bought some off him and it works superb!! Here in NZ it's REGION 4.
